      This year REDES would like us to be based in San Pedro Perulapán in the Cuscatlan region. The most recent floods took out the main access road to this municipality leaving the residents without vital supplies. Over 550 residents were left homeless as the floods destroyed or damaged hundreds of houses.



      The project will run for six weeks from the 4th of July until the 15th of August where we plan to reconstruct and develop the housing and basic infrastructure in San Pedro Perulapán in collaboration with REDES.

      For 2010 we are setting our ambitions high, raising more money and financing a project of wider impact then attempted before. While our overheads for organising the trip remain fixed, the additional funds will go directly to purchasing locally sourced building materials and employing local semi-skilled labour.
